Rainy Phase & Wisdom

I bounce between Black Art & Native Art often in my styles. I strongly believe my ancestors use me as a conduit to express.

So these two pieces are a reflection of that very notion.  I had a dry sprout started by a gallery I attended in hopes to get my work out there but it was just nothing I envisioned. So obviously traveling so far can leave you a little flustered; until I realized the image of the owl followed me all day long.

I was also overcome by emotions of stagnancy and that’s what brought along the rain.  Rainy days are beautiful because it’s inevitable the grass is greener the next day.

Ambition of a Lover

He’s focused on the goal ahead & she’s looking at him.

This piece was created in 2 days & was an invigorating free hand study.  My reference for the male was Metro Boomin of course.  The album I had bumping was THEY. It was just a positive feeling to manifest this particular vision.

‘All Eyes On Me’

24×30
I’m in a daze when I think of this creation. Understand me when I say I challenge myself with this art adventure. I’m self taught so a lot comes about as what images make sense in my mind to emulate.  Basically all deriving from memory rather than references.  I didn’t think I could articulate eyes with my paintbrush but I gave it my all.  Can’t wait to further the progression.

The Art of Introduction

Who is Amethyst Amaris?

To know who I am you must know what I represent.  I am a holistic creator & healer.  My capabilities expand beyond a paint brush & being a nutritionist. I say holistic creator because I am an artist, musician, dancer, with a natural knack for acting.

I say holistic healer because I am a claircognizant empath that has studied herbalism, natural nutrition, spiritual psychology and am currently studying naturopathy.  I depend on my empathic abilities to heal people.
